With Primo installed on my machine that command doesn't do anything - I've yet to scan my registry to see if Primo did install any classes that could be instantiated. To get a Primo API object which you could then use for what you wanted. The code that they supplied suggested that with the API on the machine you'd be able to run a command: They linked to the information on the website that discussed the API but when I tried the link it now goes to a 404: I found a very old discussion about automating PrimoPDF (it also talks about PDF Creator) and they seem to indicate that back when they were having that discussion the API that they needed to use was not free: I downloaded the latest version of PrimoPDF and did a quick test and couldn't find any way of creating a PDF file programmatically, the best I could do was to send the report direct to the PrimoPDF printer and then manually click on the user interface or automatically create a file that was not in the PDF standard. I'm prepared to stand corrected should I be shown otherwise. I might be wrong but from what I gather the free version doesn't give you the automation capabilities that you are looking for. > REPORT FORM &tcReportName NOCONSOLE TO FILE &lcFileWithLocation NOWAIT Is there a step I'm missing? As far as I can tell, the code is the same as what I see throughout this site > When we try to use the printer in Foxpro, it creates a PS file rather than a PDF file. > We're trying to move away from Adobe PDFWriter and someone recommended PrimoPDF, along with a lot of recommendations online. I hate to start a new thread on this, but none of the other threads seemed to resolve my issue.
